About
I am a Graduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University studying Soil Science under Dr. Bradley Miller in the Geospatial Laboratory for Soil Informatics. I am pursuing a Master’s degree with focus on detecting elevation change using LiDAR derived Digital Elevation Models. While at Iowa State, I have enjoyed being the soil judging team’s assistant coach and working under several TA roles. Previously, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Science from Michigan State University in 2023, and worked as a Geospatial Technician at RS&GIS. My research interests include the further integration of Soil Science with modern GIS platforms, pedology, and geomorphology.
Originally, I am from Flint, Michigan, but have spent time in Lansing, Michigan as well as Peoria, Illinois. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, “recreational cartography”, and playing board games with my friends.
